Classical music is nothing to cough at, it is often seen as a serious affair, with many dressing for the occasion. On Friday I went the Royal Festival Hall, London, to see Daniel Barenboim and the Berlin Staatskapelle. A new week and a new picture, exciting times for us all. There are a few going up this week while I catch up but it’s all good. This was taken in a friends flat (who wrote this post) in Bristol on a warmer day than it is today. That’s me on the right if you care, or can’t be bothered to use google. Job titles as I have found and as meaningful as they are meaningless. They appear to give status but often don’t reflect the a persons true importance and value, yet many define themselves by this title that has been bestowed upon them by their pay masters. Is this wrong? I’ll let you come to your own opinion on this matter. I really want to tackle the injustice of the British title against an American one.
