Taking on the guise of one of those tech review sites that many of us enjoy on a daily basis I thought I would use their tactic of ‘milking’ a subject as much as possible. With this in mind I want to share my excitement regarding the impending delivery of the latest addition to my home of a sofa. Yes, the very same sofa that I twittered about for a while [not to be confused with chair posts].

Since ordering it well over 2 months ago, half of me has forgotten what the damn thing looks like; particularly as I was able to choose from a selection of patterns and colours. However, to give this post a little more substance and make it read more like a planned well consider meaningful story, I shall describe from memory, yes memory! What the sofa is or will be.

Coming with 4 wooden legs, possibly real beech or beech effect each are (not so) nicely tipped with a chrome finish (not the browser but the metal). Moving up from there, it is upholstered in a dark fabric, smattered with a blue and yellow. With a wider than average weave it gives the feel of a well nourished texture, similar to that of a well feed bear, with plaits. Oozing contemporary sophistication the sofa is likely to radiate a warm inviting feeling, which beckons those near to take a seat. In addition to this sleek charm, the sofa benefits for moveable arm wings that will flap to the delight of the fortunate owner (being me) and visitor (being perhaps you). Moreover if that wasn’t enough, it also packs head rest that flip into position for those moments when the head tips back into the snooze position; clearly this will also avoid the potential danger of tongue swallowing. Topping off the 2 meter heavy weight, is the all important foot stool (aka a poof) that takes on the same design of couch without the flair of wings or flaps.

I can’t wait to post the “un-boxing” experience (saturday), the imaginatively titled ‘living with’, and of course a full review, where I stitch all these posts together with a star rating review.
