überBusy or uberbusy for seo reasons has evolved over the past 2 to 3 years into something that I’m fairly proud of. At least from the point of view of what I have learnt while making the site and from the friends who helped me along the way.
From a brand point of view überBusy is still young and without much direction. It is simply an expression of me Martin Beauchamp and my thoughts at the time of posting. Early on I decided not to go the route of another blog headed with my name, I wanted to separate to somehow develop a brand whose identity would lead to the man behind the brand. Why? Partially because I couldn’t get myname.com though I do have other variations, but more over because this is my playground, this is where I get to develop ideas and concepts for the future.
überBusy now has artwork that I think will largely remain unchanged. It’s brand simplicity in design and concept will allow it to stand the test of time. Iconic brands stem from simple logos built from well composed typography. Nike, Google, IBM, Microsoft, Sony, überBusy all followed that mantra and all remain fundamentally unchanged.
Where überBusy will be in years to come, who knows? I will however stand by it and help it on its way as it grows up and learns to stand on its own feet.
