A new year and all that jazz has given me the idea each week posting a picture that I have taken and telling a short storey around it. Anyway, it is imaginatively called Picture of the Week or potw. überBusy looks set to get a little more Busy.

As many of won’t know I have a flickr page with some of the pics I am most fond of but since they hardly ever feature on here, well you know.

Anyway could not post this without posting a picture right, so here is the first one.

Why did I choose this. After the weekend where these friends of mine, tired me out to the extreme, where we ambled through a wintery London like I have rarely seen it. This to me will be a snippet of the past weekend that I will remember. Plus I love the old skool letterbox and phone booth – it’s retro communication at its best. Looks loads more romantic than a computer screen and mobile phone.

I’ll put postboxes and phone booths into the things I will miss list.
