shockingly this morning was a year on from the last away day that I have done at my time a Net Communities, the company which I have spent the last 20 months grafting for. And as I sit here in this rather plush hotel, which I’m sadden to say let me down on the first room, which despite being bigger and nicer than the one I’m writing this article in, it’s bathroom was disintegrating in my very presence. Taps coming off in my hands and sinks leaking water. On complaining I took the small room that at least worked.

Anyway, back to the summit. I always find it interesting to see peoples views on their jobs, the company as a whole, and to watch peoples thought processes. It motivated me last year, and ignited the touch paper that helped the company grow massively. This year the spin was all very different to my mind. This year clarity and focus was the words of the day and I really do think that it’s days like today that help achieve that.

Every company needs to do this. That is my tip for the day. More thoughts later.
