purchasing my domain names

largely today’s time online was spent working out what domain names I should own. Moreover it was deciding if I should keep uberbusy or go for something different. In the end I signed up to more uberbusy fun and then remember that last year I wanted to have my name as a domain name. Alas two of domains I wanted were taken, namely my first and last name combined for .com or my last name whatever the situation.

However, this year I thought it best to buy at least the .co.uk version of my name, which lead me to buy .org, .net and .info. So you’ll now find uberbusy @ martinbeauchamp.org, co.uk, .net and .info.

Exciting times I’m sure you’ll all agree. If I make a new blog then I’ll be sure to let you know.

I like the name uberbusy, but I agree it’s good to own your own name too, even if it’s just forwarding to your blog.

Try and get martinbeauchamp.com off the newb with the poor gallery. I had the chance to buy Robinson.com from a similar newb once (he also had some poor family gallery on it), but I turned him down (wanted a grand for it!) and now it’s owned by some travel agents.

firstname@lastname.com would be sick. Shame we’re such latecomers to the Interwebs, eh?
