shopping in the 2008 sales

running around downtown london today, I thought it would be wise to pop my head into a few highly fashionable and usually very expensive boutiques. It soon became very apparent that I really don’t need anything and the sales seem to be a way for expensive places to claw money out of me. I still maintain I will spend money, because i’m buying into the whole buy quality while it is at normal clothes prices but actually it is the most stupid time to buy.

Another thing I noticed that people seem to be even ruder when shopping in the sales, maybe they are just more stressed or maybe they realise that their shopping experience will ultimately leave them unfulfilled. There were also a suprising number of people that left the shops with nothing, like me.

Still on the look out for a new swanky chair, if anyone has any ideas then link me up.
