so it is that time again where people wheel out their music of the year, seems very bland to me. If you truly do love music then you are not a pure populist and if that is the case, why would you have music of the year. This year I have discovered music that warms my soul, but that others have long been listening to, does that mean it isn’t music of 2008? Hardly! some of it will define the year for me, or lead me to make new discoveries and to refine my taste (by refine I mean selective broadening). Anyway, no list from me this year, but see what i’m listening to on LastFM, always current and always as joy.
