ahh the spectatular and lightly off putting silence on el phone. I’m not sure if i’m noticing more now than ever before, but whatever the case, I thought I may as well blog about it. Wonder if the new iphone will help me write more posts on the fly….? hmmm. Anyway back to the silence thing, why do people take massive pauses? and beyond that why is it sometimes more fun to see who breaks the silence first? a kind of phone chicken. When is a situation of phone chicken I often wonder if the person who often I don’t know, knows that i’m playing it, and I wonder how many people who phone me also play it. Then of course if they are not then they either haven’t understood what you are saying, or are in a situation where they can’t say anything or lack any type of answer, the later being the most frustrating. Then of course they could be trying to force you to dig yourself even deeper into a hole, which you later can’t get out of (learning from experiences). I say when in such a situtation of phone silence, don’t be weak, win the battle it will suprise you what might happen. The best thing about life is it’s unexpectedness and or course as the song goes… ‘the best things in life are free’.
